Victoria Snowden began her journey training as a Deathkeeper in 2018. After beginning her career part-time as a Deathkeeper, she soon began seeing clients for pregnancy & infant loss, which helped her see that Birth and Death were two sides of the same coin. It also connected to prior reproductive wellness and justice work that she had also been involved in within the field of Endometriosis. As an Endometriosis Ambassador for over 15 years, resulting from constant advocacy for an endometriosis diagnosis that took over 10 years to obtain, Victoria was well aware of the lack of education and care that existed within Reproductive wellness, and her various points and experiences in life ultimately led her to a fuller understanding of full spectrum birth and deathwork.

She then began training as a Full Spectrum Birthworker and Childbirth Educator in 2019, a year after being involved in Deathkeeper work, and Victoria would go on to expand both her Birthwork and her Deathwork with training as a Lactation Consultant, Clinical Herbalist, Pelvic Steam Facilitator, 300-Hour Yoga Instructor, 200-Hour Meditation Teacher, Interfaith Chaplain, and Crisis Care Instructor & Coordinator.

In her Birthwork, Victoria particularly focuses on advocacy and research on Maternity care deserts in the Deep South, Endometriosis awareness, African-American Birthwork History, reframing Perinatal Mental Health, and evidence-informed, culturally competent Pelvic Steam practices. Victoria currently serves with the Perinatal Mental Health Task Force, formed as a collaborative effort with Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Coalition of Georgia and Postpartum Support International.

She is now a full-time owner for Spiral Birth LLC and Guided Cycles LLC, the latter of which she carries out additional Deathwork, Grief support, Ancestral veneration, and Genealogy work.

In her spare time, she also continues her volunteer work as a foster care advocate via CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates), with which she has volunteered for over 13 years.
