By accessing this website, registering for a class, purchasing an offering, downloading materials, submitting a form, attending an event, or otherwise interacting with Spiral Birth LLC, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use this website or participate in Spiral Birth offerings.
ABOUT SPIRAL BIRTH
Spiral Birth LLC provides educational resources, classes, trainings, and community-based learning related to fertility care, childbirth education, herbalism, perinatal health, community birth work, perinatal crisis response, pregnancy criminalization, postpartum care, death and birth work, reproductive justice, and related topics.
Spiral Birth LLC may offer virtual classes, in-person classes, public education, professional education, resource libraries, downloadable materials, community trainings, doula-related education, consulting, and other educational offerings.
Unless otherwise stated in a separate written agreement, Spiral Birth LLC does not provide medical care, mental health treatment, legal representation, emergency response services, clinical diagnosis, legal advice, or individualized healthcare treatment plans.
EDUCATIONAL PURPOSE ONLY
All content provided by Spiral Birth is for educational, informational, and community-learning purposes only.
This includes, but is not limited to, website content, class materials, handouts, slides, recordings, articles, blog posts, resource lists, herbal education, perinatal health education, pregnancy criminalization education, crisis-response education, birth work education, death work education, and any verbal or written information shared during classes, trainings, consultations, or events.
Nothing provided by Spiral Birth LLC should be interpreted as:
medical advice;
mental health advice;
legal advice;
emergency-response instruction for an active emergency;
a substitute for licensed clinical care;

NO MEDICAL, MIDWIFERY, LEGAL, OR MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES
Spiral Birth LLC does not provide medical services, midwifery services, nursing services, psychiatric services, psychotherapy, legal services, or emergency services through this website or through general educational offerings.
Participation in a Spiral Birth class, training, event, or resource does not create a provider-patient relationship, therapist-client relationship, attorney-client relationship, doula-client relationship, consultant-client relationship, or any other professional-client relationship unless a separate written agreement has been signed by both parties.
If you are experiencing a medical emergency, mental health emergency, pregnancy-related emergency, domestic violence emergency, birth emergency, postpartum emergency, or any situation involving immediate danger, call emergency services or seek immediate help from qualified local professionals.
HERBALISM AND WELLNESS INFORMATION
Any herbalism, traditional wellness, nutrition, fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, or body-based information shared by Spiral Birth is for educational purposes only.
Herbs, supplements, teas, tinctures, oils, foods, and wellness practices may affect people differently and may interact with pregnancy, lactation, medications, medical conditions, fertility treatments, surgeries, allergies, or other health factors.
You agree that you are solely responsible for consulting with a qualified healthcare provider before using herbs, supplements, wellness practices, or any information discussed through Spiral Birth LLC.
Spiral Birth LLC does not guarantee that any herbal, wellness, fertility, birth, postpartum, or traditional care information is safe or appropriate for every individual.
PREGNANCY CRIMINALIZATION AND LEGAL-ADJACENT EDUCATION
Spiral Birth LLC may provide education, resources, commentary, or training related to pregnancy criminalization, reproductive justice, digital safety, institutional systems, legal risk awareness, carceral systems, or policy-related issues.
This information is not legal advice. Spiral Birth does not provide legal representation, legal strategy, legal opinions, or attorney-client services.

PERINATAL CRISIS RESPONSE EDUCATION
Spiral Birth LLC may provide education related to perinatal crisis response, maternal emergency preparedness, institutional response systems, community care, crisis navigation, grief, birth trauma, perinatal loss, postpartum support, and related topics.
This content is educational and does not replace emergency services, clinical care, hospital protocols, EMS response, psychiatric crisis services, social work services, law enforcement response, or other professional crisis intervention.
Spiral Birth does not guarantee that use of its educational materials will prevent harm, resolve a crisis, improve an institutional response, or produce a specific safety outcome.
DEATH AND BIRTH WORK EDUCATION
Spiral Birth LLC may provide educational content related to death work, birth work, grief, mortality systems, end-of-life care, perinatal loss, stillbirth, infant loss, pregnancy loss, reproductive grief, and related topics.
This content may be emotionally sensitive. By participating, you acknowledge that some topics may involve grief, trauma, death, loss, pregnancy complications, reproductive harm, criminalization, medical mistreatment, institutional violence, or other difficult material.
You are responsible for deciding whether a class, training, or resource is appropriate for you at a given time.
CLASSES, TRAININGS, EVENTS, AND REGISTRATION
Spiral Birth LLC may offer virtual classes, in-person classes, live trainings, recorded trainings, community events, private trainings, public workshops, professional education, and other learning experiences.
Registration may be required for certain offerings. You agree to provide accurate and current information when registering.
Spiral Birth LLC reserves the right to accept, decline, cancel, reschedule, modify, or discontinue any class, training, event, or offering at any time.
Class topics, dates, times, instructors, locations, formats, materials, and availability may change.
Participation in a class or event does not guarantee certification, employment, professional qualification, institutional acceptance, client outcomes, or any specific personal or professional result unless expressly stated in writing.
VIRTUAL OFFERINGS
Virtual classes and events may be offered through third-party platforms such as Zoom, Google Meet, webinar platforms, scheduling systems, payment processors, learning platforms, or other online tools.
You are responsible for having the technology, internet connection, device access, software access, and privacy conditions necessary to participate.
Spiral Birth LLC is not responsible for technical issues, internet outages, platform interruptions, device failures, user-side access problems, or third-party platform limitations.
IN-PERSON OFFERINGS
For in-person classes, trainings, events, or gatherings, you agree to follow all venue rules, safety instructions, public health requirements, accessibility procedures, and community conduct expectations.
Spiral Birth LLC reserves the right to remove any participant from an in-person offering if the participant creates a safety concern, disrupts the learning environment, violates these Terms, violates venue rules, harasses others, threatens others, or behaves in a way that Spiral Birth determines is inappropriate for the setting.
PAYMENTS, FEES, AND FUTURE PRODUCTS
Some Spiral Birth offerings may be free. Others may require payment.
If Spiral Birth offers paid classes, trainings, downloads, physical products, digital products, memberships, subscriptions, merchandise, consultations, event tickets, or other paid offerings, the price, payment terms, access terms, and any applicable refund terms will be listed at or before the time of purchase.
By making a purchase, you agree to pay all listed fees and any applicable taxes, processing fees, or charges.
Spiral Birth LLC may change prices, discontinue products, modify offerings, or update payment structures at any time. Changes will not retroactively alter purchases already completed unless otherwise stated or required by law.
REFUNDS, CANCELLATIONS, AND RESCHEDULING
Refund, cancellation, transfer, and rescheduling rules may vary by offering.
Unless a specific refund policy is listed for a particular class, training, event, product, or service, all sales are final.
For live classes or events, Spiral Birth LLC may choose, at its discretion, to offer a refund, credit, transfer, rescheduled date, or alternate access option.
No refund is guaranteed for missed classes, late arrivals, failure to attend, technology problems on the participant’s side, inability to access a virtual platform, or failure to review event details.
If Spiral Birth cancels a paid offering without providing a rescheduled date, replacement access, or comparable alternative, Spiral Birth will provide a refund or credit at its discretion, unless otherwise required by law.
SUBSCRIPTIONS, MEMBERSHIPS, AND RECURRING PAYMENTS
If Spiral Birth LLC offers subscriptions, memberships, payment plans, or recurring charges in the future, the recurring payment terms will be disclosed at the time of purchase.
By enrolling in a recurring payment offering, you authorize Spiral Birth or its payment processor to charge your selected payment method according to the disclosed billing schedule.
Cancellation instructions will be provided with the subscription or membership terms. You are responsible for cancelling before the next billing date if you do not want to be charged again.
Failure to use a subscription, membership, class, or digital product does not automatically cancel billing.
DIGITAL PRODUCTS AND DOWNLOADS
Spiral Birth LLC may offer digital products, downloadable resources, guides, handouts, recordings, templates, worksheets, or other digital materials.
Unless otherwise stated, digital products are for your personal, individual, non-commercial use only.
You may not copy, reproduce, share, resell, upload, distribute, teach from, adapt, publish, license, or use Spiral Birth digital materials for your own business, class, training, organization, or commercial purpose without written permission.
Due to the nature of digital products, all digital product sales are final unless otherwise stated.
RECORDINGS
Some virtual or in-person offerings may be recorded. Spiral Birth may record classes, trainings, events, lectures, discussions, or presentations for educational, archival, promotional, quality-control, or participant-access purposes.
If recording will occur, Spiral Birth LLC will make reasonable efforts to notify participants.
By participating in a recorded class or event, you consent to being recorded if you speak, appear on camera, use the chat, submit questions, or otherwise participate in a way captured by the recording.
If you do not want to appear in a recording, you are responsible for keeping your camera off, using a display name that protects your privacy, avoiding verbal participation, and contacting Spiral Birth about available participation options.
Spiral Birth LLC may not be able to remove participant appearances or comments from live recordings after the fact.
COMMUNITY CONDUCT
Spiral Birth LLC is committed to maintaining respectful, serious, thoughtful, and community-centered learning spaces.
You agree not to engage in harassment, threats, intimidation, hate speech, exploitation, stalking, doxxing, disruption, discriminatory conduct, abusive behavior, sexual harassment, unauthorized recording, commercial solicitation, or misuse of participant information.
Spiral Birth LLC reserves the right to remove any participant from a class, training, event, online space, or offering without refund if Spiral Birth determines that the participant has violated these expectations or created a safety, privacy, ethical, or disruption concern.
CONFIDENTIALITY AND PARTICIPANT PRIVACY
Some classes or discussions may involve personal stories, sensitive experiences, birth experiences, reproductive experiences, grief, trauma, professional experiences, institutional experiences, or community concerns.
You agree not to share, publish, record, screenshot, identify, exploit, or disclose another participant’s personal information, story, image, voice, chat comments, situation, or identity without that person’s clear permission.
Spiral Birth LLC may take reasonable steps to protect participant privacy but cannot guarantee that other participants will maintain confidentiality.
Do not share information in a class, form, chat, or event that you are not comfortable sharing in that setting.
WEBSITE RESOURCES AND THIRD-PARTY LINKS
The Spiral Birth website may include resource lists, external links, referrals, articles, organizations, tools, websites, videos, social media accounts, public agencies, mutual aid groups, legal organizations, healthcare resources, birth resources, crisis resources, or other third-party materials.
These resources are provided for informational convenience only.
Spiral Birth LLC does not control third-party websites, organizations, providers, platforms, products, services, policies, statements, accuracy, availability, safety, privacy practices, or outcomes.
Inclusion of a third-party resource does not necessarily mean endorsement, partnership, sponsorship, affiliation, responsibility, or guarantee.
You are responsible for evaluating whether any resource is appropriate for your needs.
PERINATAL PORTFOLIO AND ORGANIZATIONAL REFERENCES
The Spiral Birth website may include a perinatal portfolio, professional background information, organizational references, project descriptions, collaborations, employment history, contracted work, trainings, partnerships, professional roles, or examples of work performed by the founder or Spiral Birth.
Unless expressly stated, organizations listed in the portfolio are not necessarily affiliated with, sponsoring, endorsing, supervising, funding, approving, or partnering with Spiral Birth.
References to organizations, universities, institutions, agencies, nonprofits, government entities, or professional projects are provided to describe professional experience, educational work, community involvement, contracted services, employment history, or past/current areas of work.
Spiral Birth LLC is an independent entity unless a specific written agreement states otherwise.
No organizational logo, name, project, or reference should be interpreted as an endorsement, formal partnership, institutional approval, legal affiliation, or sponsorship unless clearly stated.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All Spiral Birth content is owned by Spiral Birth or used with permission unless otherwise stated.
This includes, but is not limited to, website text, class materials, training materials, slides, frameworks, handouts, graphics, resource compilations, written content, digital downloads, program names, class names, curriculum structures, original concepts, original methods, videos, recordings, audio materials, images, logos, designs, and other creative or educational materials.
You may view and use Spiral Birth materials for your own personal educational use.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, teach, sell, republish, upload, share, license, adapt, create derivative works from, or use Spiral Birth materials for commercial, organizational, institutional, or training purposes without prior written permission.
USER SUBMISSIONS
If you submit information to Spiral Birth LLC through forms, emails, surveys, registrations, testimonials, comments, messages, class participation, or other communications, you are responsible for ensuring that your submission is accurate and that you have the right to share it.
You grant Spiral Birth permission to review, respond to, store, and use your submission for the purpose for which it was provided.
If you submit a testimonial, review, comment, photo, story, or other content for public use, you grant Spiral Birth permission to use, display, edit for clarity or length, reproduce, and publish that content in connection with Spiral Birth, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Spiral Birth will not intentionally publish your sensitive personal story, private health details, or identifying information as a testimonial without permission.
NO GUARANTEES
Spiral Birth LLC does not guarantee any specific outcome from use of the website, resources, classes, trainings, products, consultations, events, or materials.
This includes, but is not limited to, health outcomes, pregnancy outcomes, birth outcomes, postpartum outcomes, fertility outcomes, legal outcomes, crisis outcomes, professional outcomes, financial outcomes, certification outcomes, institutional outcomes, employment outcomes, emotional outcomes, community outcomes, or safety outcomes.
Your results depend on many factors outside Spiral Birth’s control.
ASSUMPTION OF RISK
You understand that perinatal education, birth work education, herbal education, crisis-response education, death work education, reproductive justice education, pregnancy criminalization education, and community care education may involve complex, sensitive, emotional, legal-adjacent, health-related, or trauma-related topics.
You voluntarily assume the risks associated with participating in Spiral Birth offerings and using Spiral Birth resources.
You agree that you are responsible for your own decisions, actions, interpretations, professional consultations, safety planning, and use of information.
DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
The Spiral Birth website, resources, classes, materials, products, and services are provided “as is” and “as available.”
Spiral Birth LLC makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability, availability, suitability, safety, or usefulness of the website, resources, classes, materials, products, or services.
Spiral Birth does not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, free from viruses, or available at all times.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Spiral Birth and its owner, employees, contractors, instructors, collaborators, affiliates, representatives, and service providers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages arising from your use of the website, resources, classes, products, services, events, or materials.
This includes, but is not limited to, damages related to health decisions, pregnancy decisions, birth decisions, postpartum decisions, legal decisions, herbal use, emergency situations, technology issues, lost access, lost income, emotional distress, personal injury, third-party resources, or reliance on educational information.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the total liability of Spiral Birth for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to Spiral Birth for the specific offering giving rise to the claim, or one hundred dollars ($100), whichever is greater.
INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Spiral Birth and its owner, employees, contractors, instructors, collaborators, representatives, and service providers from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses arising from:
your use of the website;
your participation in classes, trainings, events, or offerings;
your use or misuse of Spiral Birth materials;
your violation of these Terms;
your violation of another person’s rights;
your reliance on educational information without consulting appropriate professionals;
your conduct in any Spiral Birth learning space;
your sharing of another participant’s private information;
your violation of applicable law.
ACCESSIBILITY
Spiral Birth LLC aims to make its educational offerings and website reasonably accessible. However, accessibility needs may vary by offering, venue, platform, and format.
Participants who need accommodations may contact Spiral Birth before an event or class. Spiral Birth will make reasonable efforts to support accessibility when possible, but cannot guarantee that every accommodation will be available for every offering.
AGE REQUIREMENTS
Spiral Birth offerings are intended for adults unless otherwise stated.
If a minor participates in a Spiral Birth class, event, or offering, a parent or legal guardian is responsible for the minor’s participation and agrees to these Terms on the minor’s behalf.
PRIVACY

Spiral Birth’s handling of personal information may be described in a separate Privacy Policy. You should not submit sensitive medical, legal, financial, or personal information through website forms unless specifically requested and appropriate for that form.
THIRD-PARTY PLATFORMS
Spiral Birth LLC may use third-party platforms for scheduling, payment processing, virtual classes, email communications, forms, website hosting, digital downloads, newsletters, analytics, or course delivery.
Spiral Birth LLC is not responsible for third-party platform outages, errors, fees, policies, security incidents, data practices, user access problems, or service interruptions.
Your use of third-party platforms may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
TERMINATION OF ACCESS
Spiral Birth LLC may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the website, classes, resources, products, communities, events, or offerings at any time if Spiral Birth determines that you have violated these Terms, misused materials, created a safety concern, disrupted a learning space, failed to pay required fees, violated community conduct expectations, or acted in a way that harms Spiral Birth or other participants.
GOVERNING LAW
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
DISPUTE RESOLUTION, ARBITRATION, AND CLASS ACTION WAIVER
Please read this section carefully. It affects your legal rights.
You and Spiral Birth LLC agree to first attempt to resolve any dispute, claim, or controversy informally and in good faith. Before filing arbitration or a legal claim, the party raising the dispute must send written notice describing the issue and the requested resolution. The parties will then have thirty (30) days to attempt informal resolution.
If the dispute is not resolved informally, you and Spiral Birth agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms, the website, classes, resources, products, services, events, payments, communications, or your relationship with Spiral Birth shall be resolved through binding individual arbitration, rather than in court, except where prohibited by law.
The arbitration shall be administered by the American Arbitration Association under its applicable consumer arbitration rules, unless the parties agree otherwise in writing.
The arbitration shall take place in Georgia, remotely by video or phone, by written submissions, or in another format approved by the arbitrator.
You and Spiral Birth LLC agree that disputes shall be brought only on an individual basis. Neither party may bring claims as a plaintiff or class member in a class action, collective action, representative action, private attorney general action, or consolidated proceeding, except where this waiver is prohibited by law.
The arbitrator may award relief only to the individual party seeking relief and only to the extent necessary to resolve that individual party’s claim.
Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking relief in small claims court if the claim qualifies, or from seeking temporary emergency relief from a court where necessary to protect intellectual property, privacy, safety, or confidential information.
If any part of this arbitration or class action waiver section is found unenforceable, the remaining parts shall remain in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.
OPT-OUT OF ARBITRATION
You may opt out of the arbitration agreement by sending written notice to Spiral Birth within thirty (30) days of first agreeing to these Terms.
Your opt-out notice must include your full name, email address, and a clear statement that you wish to opt out of the arbitration agreement in the Spiral Birth Terms and Conditions.
Opting out of arbitration does not affect any other part of these Terms.
FORCE MAJEURE
Spiral Birth LLC shall not be liable for delays, cancellations, interruptions, or failure to perform caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to illness, emergencies, weather, natural disasters, public health events, travel disruptions, venue closures, internet outages, platform failures, power outages, labor disruptions, governmental actions, civil unrest, or other unforeseen circumstances.
CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
Spiral Birth LLC may update or modify these Terms at any time.
The updated Terms will be posted on this website with a revised “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the website, registration for offerings, purchase of products, or participation in Spiral Birth activities after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these Terms is found invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
ENTIRE AGREEMENT
These Terms, together with any applicable policies, registration terms, refund terms, privacy policy, or written agreements, constitute the entire agreement between you and Spiral Birth LLC regarding your use of the website and participation in Spiral Birth offerings.
