Georgia SASS

SASS stands for Self-Managed Abortion; Safe & Supported. It is a global initiative by the nonprofit Women Help Women that provides medically accurate information and one-on-one counseling for people seeking to end an early pregnancy with abortion pills on their own.

Within the organization, each state generally has or strives to have one instructor available to teach virtual and in-person classes statewide from their curriculum.

Victoria is the Georgia instructor for SASS and teaches 3-hour virtual and in-person classes monthly throughout the state. These classes include information on mifepristone, misoprostol, miscarriage & abortion management, and care after pregnancy, all within the scope of Georgia law. These classes are always free.

Victoria teaches SASS curriculum for the state of Georgia. If you live within another state, then you can either visit the SASS website or contact Victoria for a referral to an instructor, if available, in your state.

Registration and scheduling for Georgia-based classes are managed through Spiral Birth for coordination purposes. These classes are part of the SASS program and are not Spiral Birth services.
